Girls Strength and Conditioning (offered periodically)

Strength and conditioning for athletic performance is essential for young women. A structured fitness program can improve agility, balance, coordination, flexibility, power, strength, stamina and to help prevent injuries. This program will be tailored to the basketball athlete, but will include a variety of exercises applicable to all sports. Training will be conducted by Grant Cluster Middle School Coaches in the Grant High School weight room. If you're new to this type of training, we'd love to help you get started. If you're lifting weights and strengthening your core daily, use this to build more muscle and stamina. All 6th-8th grade girls are welcome.
